Very calm and relaxing. Would fit in the credits of a movie or sth. Love the change between the slow and more intense passages. And the climax just before the 3 minute mark gives me shivers. Wonderful!

Great background music. I imagine a village where all the ppl have come together to say farewell to their sons who join the Paladins :D. Love the percussions and the climax one can feel. Good job!
Author's Response:
Thanks a lot for the review PianoForte. Im glad you liked the Percussions, which i thought was the worse part to this song lol.

Very creativ mix between strings and synths. Although I think that the electroacoustic side of this song is superior to the classical one all the time. The piano could need a boost volume wise. Strings should have been playing another melody/pattern at some point in the song (not just at the beginning). Song itself loops nicely. Don't know if it was intended to do so.
Yeah well, overall really nice. Enjoyed it.

hidden between all this trash that floods the audio portal. Great remix, yeah! I also liked the lyrics. That's something you don't expect in a VG-remix.

great composition. I hear some Muse("Falling with you") inspiration at 0:08 =D. Melody is a bit repetitive though but the strings are a nice addition and give the song some variety.
Author's Response:
Thanks heaps. Yeah I tried to keep this one simple and creating interest is an important musical concept that I learnt in music classes. So i decided to achieve Interest through adding texture (the strings) rather than bringing in lots of new melodies or sections. Plus I had to refrain from adding a typical guitar solo... :P

interesting choice of synths. but the song lacks in variation. Maybe you could think of some new effects or even change the synth for the main melody somewhere in the song. Also, some dynamics would be nice. The song just goes on and on without a real climax.
Author's Response:
I know, it's an amature piece. I rushed it and didnt take much time at all.

Lovely melody you play here. sugar reverb and playing-backwards effect do their job creating a nice atmosphere. the song is indeed very lonely. I miss the "love" in it. feels more like someone has a whole in their heart on Valentine's Day. Which, of course, is legit. The climax at the end is kinda refreshing and changes the mood to something more....hopeful?!...
Author's Response:
hopeful? Perhaps. It's about how you perceive it.
